To celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee this Bank Holiday, the streets of Seven Dials will be full of events, activities, masterclasses and bespoke menus that celebrate all things 1950s, the decade of the Queen’s coronation.
With everything from ’50s themed stretching classes and ’50s themed haircuts to royal afternoon teas and Queen-themed nail art pop-ups, we’ve got something for everyone to celebrate the Platinum Jubilee.
Still looking for more things to do in Central London? We’ve got a flower crown-making workshop, Queen-themed cocktails, an English sparkling wine tasting session and even a burlesque masterclass. We’ll also have live music acts that celebrate the sounds of the ’50s throughout the weekend.

Get in the spirit of the crown with our Seven Dials flower crown workshop on Monmouth Street. The team from Flower Appreciation Society will be teaching you how to make your very own floral crowns, composed of the finest seasonal garlands in bloom.

Indulge in a royal afternoon tea celebrating the Platinum Jubilee at Covent Garden Hotel.
Toast to the special occasion with a glass of Rathfinny Classic Cuvée or a Lilibet cocktail whilst a selection of tea sandwiches are served, including traditional favourites such as coronation chicken and English scones and preserves.
You can enjoy a choice of quality teas and speciality infusions whilst sweet treats such as Pimm’s Cheesecake and Victoria Sponge follow.
The Royal Afternoon Tea is available in the Drawing Room and at Brasserie Max inside the hotel.

The accessory queens, Skinnydip’s store will be offering Queen-themed manicures to visitors on 4th June. The pop up will centre around a ‘queen bling’ Y2K aesthetic, meaning you can enjoy the weekend with a new set of nails.
There’ll also be a DJ and sweet treats in store all day – and you can get 20% off in-store on the 3rd, 4th and 4th!

Stretch Inc invites you down to a group stretching class with a ’50s twist – dress in ’50s and ’60s workout attire alongside a kitted out stretchologist and some classic ’50s and ’60s music to get you in the mood for a stretch.

To commemorate the Queen and her country, the wine specialists at Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels will be hosting an English sparkling wine tasting flight, taking your palate on a sensational journey through the country’s sparkling vineyards.
The flight of three English wines will feature pours from Langham Estate, Tillingham and Westwell. You can enjoy the sparkling flavours of the British countryside accompanied by a selection of British cheeses.

The lingerie experts at Coco de Mer will be treating adults to a masterclass in the art of burlesque from the famed Miss Fallon Dee. Join Miss Dee in a session mastering the ways of the burlesque dancer, learning techniques from the 1950s and beyond.

Seven Dials Market is going all out over the Jubilee weekend.
The team at East London Liquor Co. will be knocking up exclusive cocktails including the gloriously green Grasshopper, for you to sip on whilst you enjoy the late night DJ takeover on Saturday evening from 6pm until midnight.
The market will be decked out in bunting and giant crowns to help you capture those Instagrammable moments and kids can also get involved in the festivities with face painting, balloon artists and golden crowns to decorate all weekend long, leaving with their own memory of the weekend.
Lastly, all seventeen food traders will be whipping up signature dishes in tribute to the Jubilee in the hopes of winning the award for the best dish of the weekend. Guests will be asked to vote for their favourite dish of the weekend in order to crown the winner on Monday.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for their drinks cart on Earlham Street!

For a real throwback to the 50’s, head to Seven Dials Market who will be serving Grasshoppers at their Downstairs Bar all weekend long, a delightful mix of crème de menthe, white crème de cacao and cream.
New to Seven Dials, St Martin’s House will be serving the Jubilee Violet Royal from 1st June onwards, a concoction of pea flower infused gin, violet liqueur, lime, cranberry juice and lavender syrup.
You can also head to The Escapologist to try the London Lady Cocktail, a mix of Hendrick’s gin, mint and elderflower, available throughout the week of the Jubilee.
