We are celebrating 90 years of Agatha Christie’s iconic novel ‘The Seven Dials Mystery’ on 24th January 2019. In celebration of the famous book set within our unique London destination, we will launch a secret book trail, where shoppers are invited to discover one of the 90 books hidden within the area to pick up and keep for free..
With Seven Dials playing an important part in the novel, British artist Iona Rowland created an exclusive public work of art which is being exhibited on our billboard on Shorts Gardens.
The dramatic large-scale artwork draws influence from and features the legendary author, while incorporating the contemporary yet colourful characteristics Rowland is renowned for. The artist's exclusive print will be on display until Spring 2019 and then auctioned for a charity partner.
For those lucky enough to discover one of the 90 books hidden within Seven Dials, an extra reward for detective work will be a Seven Dials book mark, which has been designed exclusively to celebrate this very special publishing anniversary and placed within each book.
Clues on where and when the books will be hidden will be released on @7DialsLondon channels from 14th January.
Brands in the area taking part in the celebration are listed below:
Tredwells, which is famously named after the treasured butler in Christie's 1929 novel will pay special tribute by creating a three-course meal and a special cocktail for £29, available from 24th January 2019.
