Lifestyle influencer, Alex in Colour, shares her top tips on winter fashion in Seven Dials
You don’t have to live in London to know Seven Dials is a wonderful place – its renowned for it’s colourful streets, independent shops and is home to one of London’s prettiest places, the world-famous Neal’s Yard.
What makes it even more special is that while it really is getting harder and harder to find unique, independent stores this little haven in the West End is quite literally bursting at the seams with them!
From grassroots fashion to homemade aesthetics and luxury craftsmanship, you always find something that you just can’t get anywhere else. That’s perhaps the main reason why I’m so sad I’m not able to explore those seven streets in the way I usually would.
But, that doesn’t mean we can’t support all of the wonderful fashion retailers in the area! Seven Dials is home to so many innovating, unique brands including the likes of Rains, Emin & Paul, Nappa Dori, Tatty Devine and many more!
So, if you’re in need of some chic, winter inspiration then look no further! Here are my top picks for your winter fashion refresh.
Make sure to keep your eyes peeled on the @7dialslondon Instagram account every day this week to be in with a chance of winning vouchers from these incredible brands. Check out the T&Cs at the bottom of the page and good luck!
1. You can’t go wrong with a clutch bag and this gorgeous, bespoke option from Colourfield Studios is handcrafted in Spain and built to last. The customisable options mean you’ll be able to throw this on with a lot of different outfits!
2. But, if that isn’t quite to your taste, then this beautiful envelope sling from Nappa Dori is a lovely alternative for a different sort of occasion.
3. Eyewear can feel like a bit of a labyrinth at times, is it right for me? Is it going to suit my face? Well, the Midland glasses in the Kaleidoscope colourway from Cubitts could be the answer. It’s as on-trend as it is versatile!
4. Do you really live in England if you don’t have a raincoat? The experts at Rains prove you really can’t go wrong with a piece as cute as this!
5. Whether you’re looking for a gift for that special someone or just want to cosy up in a bigger jacket, Farah’s Strickland Wadded Coat comes in a deep green and will keep you warm wherever you are.
6. Choosing the right headwear during the winter months is definitely a decision that is taken for granted. Emin & Paul’s Angora Beanie is super soft and comes in a variety of colours, making it the perfect accessory to whatever you’re wearing. Believe me, you’ll struggle to find a better bargain!
7. Super Superficial has a wonderfully eclectic range of options and the Don’t Be Afraid jumper is a great, versatile option with a lovely message we could all do with remembering sometimes.
8. Being indoors doesn’t mean you can’t keep your feet warm! Birkenstock’s Boston Shearling is as premium as it gets and is made of real, high-quality suede. The perfect footwear for those cosy winter evenings.
9. Find me a cooler pair of socks than the Broccoli from Happy Socks and I still probably won’t believe you! A great way to add a splash of colour to your outfit too!
10. Chain necklaces are timeless and simply put, the Pegasus Mini Necklace in Gold from the amazing Tatty Devine is a gorgeous staple piece that everyone needs in their collection. Thank me later!
