Celebrate International Women's Day 2018


Following last year's highly successful International Women’s Day campaign, we celebrated again this year from Thursday 1 March to Thursday 8 March.

The week celebrates the inspirational women behind a number of Seven Dials' leading brands, with a series of exclusive in-store events, collection launches and promotions, plus a free In Conversation With event on Thursday 8 March at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Mercer Street Hotel.

Broadcaster Gemma Cairney will be hosted a live discussion on International Women's Day 2018's theme of ‘Press for Progress’ with a panel of influential and progressive women, including:

Iconic British jewellery designer Dinny Hall will be launching an exclusive Suffragette-inspired edit at the Monmouth Street boutique.

Enjoy a complimentary Mimosa cocktail when you dine at Monmouth Kitchen on Thursday 8 March. 

Join Sonos on Thursday 8 March, 6.30-9pm, for their Women In Music: Breaking Barriers, Creating Change panel talk with Andreea Magdalena (, Jane Third (PIAS), Laura Snapes (Music Journalist), Judy Griffith (Fabric), Steph Marziano (Mixing Engineer/Producer) and Shakira Payne (Sonos) RSVP:

Original, playful jewellery brand Tatty Devine will be launching an exclusive collection with London-based illustrator and papercut artist, Poppy's Papercuts at the Monmouth Street store. 

Stop by Ollie Quinn's Neal Street store to check out their special International Women's Day window mural created by urban portrait artist, Hannah Adamaszek. 

Rossopomodoro will be serving a special Chocolate Panna Cotta (£6.45) topped with handmade Annurca apple and cinnamon jam made by Casa Lorena, an anti-violence centre created to support women affected by abuse.

Neal’s Yard Remedies are hosting a superfood tasting as well as in-store discounts, workshops to create your own hand massage oil, plus free hand and arm massages in-store across the week with oils from their female suppliers. 

To commemorate the Scottish heritage of two of Hawksmoor Seven Dials’ female bartenders, grab a seat at the bar and enjoy the special rum-based Sister Suffragette cocktail from Thursday 1 March to Thursday 8 March priced at £6.00.

Head to El Ganso on Neal Street to check out the in-store exhibition “My Outer Woman” by Ernesto Artillo until Thursday 8 March. Plus, on Thursday 8 March, customers will receive a fresh flower with every purchase. 

Visit Vendula London on Neal Street where you will receive a complimentary matching accessory (a matching wallet in two beautiful styles or a coin purse of the customer's choice) when you purchase one of their beautiful bags between 1-8 March.

For the event, we have partnered with Hey Girls, a UK social enterprise who sell sustainable and ethical sanitary products and are a one for one business set up to end period poverty in the UK. For every pack of sanitary products that are purchased, one package is donated to girls in need.
