Seven Dials will celebrate the wealth of art, design and creativity in the area, with a host of activations from over 30 brands. From masterclasses and workshops to exclusive exhibitions and bespoke illustrations.
Make your starting point where the seven streets meet, The Dial. A work of art its own, the sundial monument was designed and constructed in 1693. The Pillar was topped by six sundial faces, the seventh 'style' being the column itself. It was regarded as one of London's 'great public ornaments' and the layout and identity of the area still revolves around it today.
Head straight down to Shorts Gardens to award-winning innovative hub, Carousel, and join a workshop class with creative pop-up veterans. Get your creativity flowing with floristry, pom-pom and calming aromatherapy candle making sessions.
While you’re on Shorts Gardens look up to find the historic Water Clock – recently refurbished, the clock was originally installed in the 1980’s. This art piece features a hollow tube where the minutes are represented and slowly fills with water. Each hour, water tips from the roof into the cups above the clock face, causing plastic flowers to "grow" and setting off bells – just watch out for the spray!
If you love makeup, stop by at Benefit for a Brow Masterclass. Here you'll learn how to use their new exclusive eyebrow product and be an expert by the time you're done.
Keep walking down Neal Street and stumble across Superga, who are offering free personalisation by their in-house artist with every product bought. Following the personalisation theme, pop into Nixon where you can customise your own watch, from scratch.
Not forgetting all the exciting activity down Monmouth Street...
