My Seven Dials

Shopper Sam Neary, Shares Her Slice of Seven Dials During Vogue Fashion's Night Out

September 2011
What's your favourite place in Seven Dials to shop?

MINT Vintage on Earlham Street is my weakness. They always have a great collection of unique, retro items in the most gorgeous fabrics and unique styles. It's my go-to-place for finding that missing touch to an outfit whether its a statement jacket or pair of sunnies – it never lets me down. I also have a soft spot for Fred Perry. The two stores in Seven Dials epitomise the nature of the brand, classic and cool. I love exploring their limited collections and recently bought a cardigan from their Laurel Wreath collection.

What's your favourite eatery or watering hole in Seven Dials?

When I'm out with the girls, we always stop by Pix bar for a cocktail and light bite to eat from their Tapas selection. It's got a great atmosphere and it has to be said... The male staff are all absolutely gorgeous! I'm always in Monmouth Coffee too - I can't resist the smell wafting out of the doors as I walk past! All the staff are always so friendly and the coffee really can't be compared.

What makes Seven Dials so special for you?

Seven Dials always has something else to offer - it's not just the quirky side streets but events like this [Vogue Fashion's Night Out] that add something special. Seven Dials is inviting - and there's so much to explore. For example, I'd never visited Poste-Mistress before today but a friend recommended we pop in having heard about their Vintage tea party. I'm glad I did. Can’t believe they’re celebrating tens years of being in the area and I’ve never visited. I'll definitely be coming back.. Even without the delicious Amarula cocktails.
