Baracuta Opens A Pop Up Shop In Seven Dials

One of Britain’s finest heritage brands, Baracuta, has opened a pop-up shop in Seven Dials, which will showcase the famous G9 in all its colourways alongside the complete lifestyle collection.
This iconic label was founded in 1937 by two Brothers and quickly established its name through a golf jacket known as the G9, which has since become synonymous with the brand and is known as the world's most credible blouson for men.
In the 50’s the jacket started to become popular thanks to the American legends, such as Frank Sinatra and Steve McQueen. The name “Harrington” became associated after Ryan O’Neill character, “Rodney Harrington” wore it in Payton Place. In the 70s and 80s, Baracuta became known worldwide and was worn by all types of characters from, Mods, ska, punk, ivy to skin heads.
Skip forward to the 2000’s and the jacket has become one of the most symbolic jacket ever made with Liam Gallagher, Daniel Craig, Thierry Henry and the Artic Monkeys all avid fans. Baracuta also collaborated with brands such as Stussy, J Crew, Comme des Garcons, Griffin and Margaret Howell.
