Firetrap Collaborates With i-D Magazine

Firetrap has teamed up with creative fashion title i-D this season for a whimsical fashion shoot, which will not only appear in the September issue of the magazine but in the window of their stores – including the Seven Dials store on Earlham Street!
Firetrap’s AW09 collection delves into the darker elements of dressing featuring Goth and grunge references, which is translated in i-D’s interpretation of the range. Waxed finishes, crushed leather and chain details express the moody feel of Firetrap, along with checked pieces and prints referencing the dark mood of Firetrap’s collection.
Known for its innovative photography and typography, i-D magazine has established a reputation as a training ground for fresh talent. Having begun in the form of a hand-stapled fanzine the magazine has evolved while maintaining street style and youth culture as central themes in every issue. This perfectly represents Firetrap’s direction and their connection to the look and attitude of the London scene.
The Firetrap i-D window will be on display until 3rd September at 21-23 Earlham Street.
