The Mountbatten hotel is undergoing a transformation and is reopening as the Mercer Street Hotel imminently. Although the finished product won’t be fully unveiled until later this summer, early visitors can enjoy a delicious new food and drinks menus in the stylish, yet relaxing surroundings of The Dial Bar and restaurant.
The chic Dial Bar and restaurant is conveniently located on the doorstep of the Dial monument, on Monmouth Street. The interior is invitingly luxurious; a classic contemporary mix of chocolate leather and aubergine velvet with deep comfy sofas to sit and watch the world go by on.
Whatever the occasion, the new Dial Bar is the perfect location to visit – ideal for a romantic evening, a business lunch or afternoon treat.
Indulge in a menu of modern European dishes, all prepared with market-fresh British produce. The restaurant menu features dishes such as seared fresh Scottish scallops, delicious duck liver and foie gras, and herb crusted cod fillet served with mash under a light lemon and chive butter.
If you’re looking for a quick snack the fragrant spices of the bar’s meze menu hint at more exotic wares. Sample marinated king prawns and harissa with coconut sauce, duck, haloumi and green chilli parcels or lamb and pistachio mini skewers washed down with one of the delectable Dial Bar signature cocktails. We recommend the refreshing apple martini made from a whole granny smith apple, shaken vigorously with Smirnoff Black vodka and served with fresh sliced apple and a sugar hit.
If you’re exhausted from shopping in Seven Dials the Dial Bar also offers the perfect afternoon pick me up. Afternoon tea includes a traditional selection of delicate finger sandwiches, scones with clotted cream and preserves and pastries served with your choice of tea.
The new look Dial Bar looks forward to your visit.
