This Sunday 5th June is World Environment Day, an occasion celebrated across the globe to encourage positive environmental action.
Earlham Street's eco-friendly resident JUST, is marking the day by showcasing a photo exhibition of 20 images as part of the Environmental Justice Foundation's 'Save the Sea' campaign tackling the illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing that occurs worldwide, damaging our eco-system and threatening extinction of certain marine life.
JUST’s photo story board, in-store this weekend, features EJF’s ongoing charity work in Sierra Leone and West Africa and their coastal community engagement project which seeks to expose pirate trawling and the supply chain of stolen fish to Europe. This summer, EJF are fundraising for an emergency lifeboat appeal to replace their current surveillance (and water ambulance) boat. View their informative short film and text a donation to show your support here: http://www.ejfoundation.org/page736.html
You can also help by visiting JUST store, and buying one of their eco-friendly, designer garments as with every purchase, a donation is made to the Environmental Justice Foundation. With a range of unique designs, for every style-seeker, there's no easier way to make a charitable contribution to a worthy cause.
Visit JUST in store for more information or for volunteering opportunities, and support World Environment Day.
