Celebrate London Jewellery Week in Seven Dials

June 2011

London Jewellery Week commences this week from 6th - 12th June bringing the best of the city's jewellers to the public and adding a touch of sparkle to the capital.

If you are in ‘need’ of a new piece of jewellery or want to get special gift for a special someone then what better time to head to one of Seven Dials quirky accessories boutiques, which cater for all tastes, styles and budgets.

Here’s our handpicked selection of what to buy this London Jewellery Week:

Laura Lee is a beautiful vintage inspired boutique on Monmouth Street, which boasts a fine selection of delicately handmade jewellery incorporating whimsical inscriptions and quirky charms. Their intricate tiny key necklace (£70), engraved band rings (£95) and pearl stud earrings (£55) will instantly become a keepsake to treasure.

For more playful and inventive accessories head over to neighbouring jewellery boutique, Tatty Devine. The iconic London bred brand stocks plastic-fantastic collections such as cult name necklaces (£27.50) or their romantic swallow enamel necklace (£21) and brooch (£33), inspired by classic sailor tattoos. To create a nautical inspired look this summer, team Tatty Devine’s blue anchor necklace (£12) with striped Breton sailor tops and dresses.

Alternatively, Parisian brand N2 combines tradition and modernity with their original, chic hand crafted pieces such as the classic ballet shoes pendant (£30). Alexandra Burke recently stepped out wearing one of N2’s necklaces from the collection "Mechamment Joyeux”. To get your hands on Alexandra’s look, head to 73 Monmouth Street.

At the nearby Thomas Neal’s Centre, you’ll find statement pieces from Gary Holder Jewellery. Made from precious and semi-precious stones and brand new to the store this week is the silver coral statement ring (£145) and the Silver Glam Necklace (£490) will add a one of a kind finish to any outfit.
