Private White V.C Pop Up Opens

August 2012

Contemporary British menswear label Private White V.C will be opening the doors of their pop-up store in Seven Dials this Wednesday.

Their new store at 46 Monmouth Street will stock their new AW12 collection as well as some exclusive pieces, all of which have been hand-crafted in their Manchester factory, using only the finest British materials.

Designer Nick Ashley has searched the archives and brought up to date the favourite styles worn by original owner, Jack White who, after being awarded a Victoria Cross for his bravery during the First World War acquired a controlling interest in the factory. Today the Manchester factory is owned by Jack White’s great grandson, James Eden, and is one of the rare companies that can boast a loyalty of nearly 3 decades. All of their designs are inspired and driven by this family heritage that was born out of a devotion to British manufacturing.

The shop interior has been conceived as an extension of the factory, and provides a rare insight into the journey of each garment. This wonderfully authentic environment enhances the Private White V.C AW12 range of winter coats, chunky knits and classic cut trousers making the pop up shop an un-missable glimpse into the world of heritage British manufacturing.

Visit Private White V.C from this Wednesday 22nd August at 46 Monmouth Street, Seven Dials.
