Luxury Chocolatier, Hotel Chocolat has opened their dynamic, new Coffee vs Cocoa Bar within its recently arrived, ‘Roast & Conch’ store on Monmouth Street.
A brand new concept, the cafe uses cocoa beans delivered fresh from Hotel Chocolat’s Saint Lucian plantation, Rabot Estate which are processed on the premises, so customers can see, smell and taste the entire, delicious process in action – from roasting and winnowing, to conching, mixing and tempering.
Infusing coffee with cocoa, the exclusive new drinks menu features familiar coffee options such as latte, flat white and cappuccino innovatively prepared with cocoa freshly roasted on the premises or with premium coffee beans.
Alongside their beverages, cocoa lovers can try out Roast & Conch’s bespoke ‘cacao cuisine’ menu. Choose from lunchtime wraps and open sandwiches with a twist such as duck confit with roasted cocoa nibs and goats’ cheese with walnuts and dark chocolate. Or those with a sweet tooth can indulge in salted caramel or cocoa whipped cream with chocolate dessert.
Catering for all, Roast & Conch cafe also offers a unique chocolate and wine dining experience. The sumptuous package presents an introduction to this unusual combination of flavours, with three specially selected cheeses, three small batch chocolates and a glass of vintage Chateau Chocolat red wine.
