Over 12,500 of you braced the cold on Thursday 25th November for the fantastic Seven Dials Shopping Event and shopped till you dropped at over 100 stores involved. We had locals bagging a bargain in their fave local stores and friends visiting from as far at Australia, Japan and Canada snapping up souvenirs from London's hidden gem.

The festive event was a great success, with a host of in store activity taking place to make the evening extra special! Down on Monmouth Street, a saucy, sexy performance from burlesque temptress Crimson Skye in the window of Coco De Mer had crowds staring in disbelief. Earlham Street's adidas Originals hosted a Street MC contest, and inside Urban Outfitters DJ Zach Burns kept the lines of shoppers waiting to pay entertained with his vocal, funky, progressive house music. For the more relaxed shopper, artisan bakery Euphorium in The Thomas Neal Centre offered alternative sounds with an amazing Rat Pack style singer.

Complimentary champagne, cupcakes, chocolate, mince pies and mulled wine at stores such as Shu Uemura, The Organic Pharmacy, Miller Harris and The Covent Garden Dental Spa went down a treat! Plus there were free Earlham Street cocktails flowing at Detroit and an extra special visit from Santa for those drinking at the Two Brewers Pub!

Ladies were loving the make-up tutorials at Benefit to get the perfect party look and the complimentary mini-facials and hand massages at Neal's Yard Remedies were also a hit. The male shoppers appreciated the fabulous freebies and exciting prize draws at stores Nike and Speedo on Neal Street.

We also celebrated the switch on of our Christmas lights on Thursday, and if you're in the Seven Dials area during December, you'll see them showering Seven Dials in a fantastic display of white lights and sparkling snowflakes. The shimmering light displays cast a glow of winter wonderment over the shoppers on the dark Winter's night!
